PROHIBITED ITEMS

To preserve the natural surround of the Garden, the following are prohibited:

  • Outside food or beverages
  • Smoking, cigars, chewable tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping, and any illegal substances

  • Balloons and confetti
  • Sports equipment, including footballs, baseballs, soccer balls and Frisbees

  • Portable music players without headphones and musical instruments
  • Rice, birdseed and flower petals (for Garden hymeneals guidelines, contact the Events department)

GUEST Rubber AND GARDEN CARE

 For your prophylactic and the care of the Garden's collections:

  • Stay on designated pathways at all times. Do not block pathways or access for other visitors.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Climbing on walls, exhibits and other structures (other than Children'southward Garden play structures designated for that purpose) is prohibited.
  • Apply circumspection on stairs and wet surfaces, which tin become slippery during watering.
  • Exercise non collect or remove seeds, flowers, fruits and vegetables, institute labels, etc., or touch on or handle plants or special exhibits (other than in designated areas of the Children's Garden).
  • Exercise not wade or swim in ponds or fountains.
  • Do not feed or handle any wildlife.

  • Dispose of waste material and recyclables in trash receptacles. All trash is sorted for recycling off-site.

Apparel

The Garden is a family unit-friendly surround. Apparel for an outdoor, walking experience:

  • Attire that is considered inappropriate or could detract for the experience of other guests is prohibited (including excessively revealing clothing, wearable with profanity, objectionable language or graphics).
  • Shoes and shirts are required at all times (comfy shoes for walking are recommended).
  • Children may simply wear bathing suits in the Children'due south Garden splash pad.
  • Adults may not wearable bathing suits inside the Garden at any time.

For non-members:

  • All guests (ages 3 and up) must have a timed ticket to enter the Garden. Purchase here.
  • All tickets are not-refundable. In the event of choppy weather condition, tickets may be transferred to another appointment for $5 per ticket. Tickets transferred from a weekday to a weekend require an additional $3 fee per ticket. Cost differences when transferring from a weekend ticket to a weekday ticket are not refunded.
  • Please get in on time. Admission tickets are non valid before the purchased time of access. Arrive at the Garden inside xv minutes later your purchased time.
